Valuation Coverage Options

Test Company offers the following valuation coverage options to protect your belongings during your move.

In-State Moves in OH

For moves performed entirely within OH, Released Value Protection of $0.60 per pound per article is the default coverage at no additional cost. Full Value Protection — under which Test Company is liable for the full replacement value of your goods — is available as a priced upgrade (see below).

Released Value Protection (Basic)

Included at no additional cost. Coverage is limited to $0.60 per pound per article.

Example: A 50-pound item damaged during the move would be covered up to $30.00 (50 lbs x $0.60).

Full Value Protection

Available for an additional charge. Under this option, Test Company is liable for the replacement value of lost or damaged goods, or the cost of repair.

Minimum coverage: $6.00 per pound times the weight of the shipment. Deductible options may be available to reduce the premium.

Important Notice

Test Company will discuss these options with you before your move and include your selection on the Bill of Lading. This is not insurance — it is the mover's liability for loss or damage.
